Question 3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

I believe time warner would be interested in distributing my product because they are a conglomerate and both horizontally and vertically integrated so therefore they wouldn’t want any competition for other magazines they own such as NME and look UK, so if Time warner were to distribute my magazine it would work in their favor because its a music magazine for all types of genres and wont be having to compete against the likes of NME but will help time warner compete against company’s like Bauer who own quite a few different types of magazines and this will bring Time Warner’s musical magazine reputation up because at this moment in time Time Warner only own one music magazine which is NME and even though this is distributed worldwide its only for an indie/punk rock audience so my magazine would work well because its strengths are NME’s weaknesses.

Also Time warner own an outstanding number of other company’s and the more worldwide magazines for a large target audience they have all of Time warner’s products can be sold and advertised through either my magazine or my magazine through the other products.
